Dr. W.T. Arnold Theater

This shared space with the adjacent J.R. Huffman Public Library features an auditorium that can accommodate large groups, such as school groups, for lectures and presentations.

The 100-seat theater hosts regular screenings of documentaries, such as ‘Of Good Courage,’ which tells the story of the 2003 Columbia recovery efforts in Hemphill and the surrounding areas. The theater can also host live streaming events with NASA.

The theater is named for Dr. William Thomas Arnold, Sr., who was the town physician for many years.
