This high-fidelity replica of the interior of a flight deck provides a realistic view of the cockpit and payload bay controls and contains shuttle training manuals with actual operational procedures.

The mock-up and its software were designed, constructed, and donated by former NASA engineers who built many of the simulators used by actual astronauts.
